Say hello to the Tecno Pova 8 Pro, or should we maybe say the Pova 8 Pros, as we've got two in the office. The regular Pova 8 Pro is joined by the very exclusive Pova 8 Pro Tonino Lamborghini special edition. We're going to unbox both, and show you arguably the weirdest thing we've had as part of a smartphone package we've seen yet. One important distinction before we continue: this isn't the car maker Lamborghini but the lifestyle and design brand Tonino Lamborghini. The special edition is obviously the more glamorous-looking of the two Povas. The rear panel has the Pulse Line - a vertical red line that runs in the middle of the panel and gets accentuated when hit with light. There's also a signature shield pattern - a hexagonal honeycomb structure, also red, which shines when illuminated. Tecno and Tonino Lamborghini call it a light-shifting rear panel.

The item mentioned is part of the Tonino Lamborghini Pova 8 Pro media kit and is a portable coffee maker, made in collaboration with lifestyle brand. The phone itself ships in a separate box, featuring a 45W charger, a black braided USB-A to USB-C cable with red accents, and a black case (again, with red accents). The case has a hard plastic back and a softer, rubber outer edge, which doubles as a cushion against drops and gives you a better grip when holding the phone.

We also have the Tecno Pova 8 Pro in Tundra Green. Depending on your taste, this could be the nicer phone. It certainly has a nicer case. The rest of the accessories are the same - 45W charger, but a plain, non-braided USB-A to USB-C cable. The case has a Tundra Green-matching rubber edge and a textured, transparent inner plastic panel. Under all the colors and accents, these are both the same Pova 8 Pro smartphone. That means you get a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate So C with up to 12GB of RAM, a 6,500mAh battery, a dual 50MP + 8MP (wide, ultrawide) camera system, and Dolby Atmos-certified stereo speakers. The body is also robust, packing both IP68 and IP69K dust and water protection.

The Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G is already available in select markets, including India, Indonesia and parts of the Middle East, though Tecno has yet to detail wider European availability. The Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition launched on September 4, with a gradual rollout across a handful of markets.
