NHL Hockey 8-Hour Briefing

NHL Notes

Charlie McAvoy scored an overtime winner just 39 seconds in, lifting the Bruins to a 2-1 victory over the Kings for their 13th consecutive home win, though he then required more dental work after losing teeth. Meanwhile, the Avalanche disputed a game misconduct for Nathan MacKinnon in their 4-3 loss to the Oilers, arguing the goalie interference call for injuring the netminder was excessive.
