NFL Free Agency Moves

Safety Nick Scott returned to Carolina on a one-year deal after posting a career-high 111 tackles last season, the Panthers announced. The 27-year-old's return strengthens Carolina's secondary depth as they prepare for training camp.

Player Transactions

Scott's deal marks Carolina's second defensive back addition this offseason, following their signing of cornerback D.J. Johnson in March. The safety's 111-tackle campaign ranked among the NFL's top 15 last season, making him a valuable retention for the rebuilding Panthers.
