Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max build on last year's models with targeted upgrades. The A20 Pro chip delivers up to 20% faster CPU and 40% faster GPU, with a 7-core GPU and dual 16-core Neural Engine for twice the AI performance. A redesigned vapor chamber triples surface area for 40% better sustained performance.

The Main camera gets a variable-aperture 48MP sensor with ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4 settings, around 50% better low-light performance, and new manual controls. Video adds 4K Dolby Vision at 60 fps and post-capture cinematic effects. Battery life reaches up to 36 hours on the 18 Pro and 45 hours on the Pro Max, with faster wired charging (50% in ~15 minutes).

Storage now goes up to 2TB on the 6.3-inch model. Prices start at $1,199 and $1,299, $100 higher. Pre-orders begin September 12, with release on September 18.
