Wigan Warriors moved within touching distance of the League Leaders' Shield with a commanding 40-8 victory over Leeds Rhinos at Headingley. The win, their 14th straight Super League match, saw tries from Adam Keighran (hat-trick), Austin Daniel, Liam Marshall, Bevan French and Jai Field. Keighran also kicked six goals as Wigan leapfrogged Leeds to move two points clear at the top.

Leeds responded through Ash Handley's try and a Connor goal before half-time, but Wigan's class shone through in the second half. The result sets up a potential title decider if both teams win their final regular season games. Leeds, seeking their first silverware since 2020, have not finished top of Super League since 2015.

Wigan, chasing a treble after winning the Challenge Cup, will face Catalans Dragons at home to seal the league title.
