Boox announced the Note Air 6C, a 10.3-inch color E Ink tablet running Android 16 with Google Play Store access. It features an upgraded processor up to 2.9GHz, a 45 percent increase over the Note Air 5C, yielding a 40 percent improvement in PDF page-turning speed. The refresh mode is faster for scrolling, web browsing, and dynamic apps.

The display offers 300PPI black-and-white and 150PPI color. It includes a four-microphone array, fingerprint power button, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, micro SD slot, dual speakers, adjustable front light, and the Pen3 stylus. It ships today for $580 in a bundle with folio case and spare tips, a $50 hike from the Air 5C. A keyboard cover bundle is $690, discounted to $657 for launch.

The Air4 C made our best E Ink tablets list, and staffers use the Air5C, so we're excited to test this iterative upgrade.
