Sonos unveiled the Beam Ultra soundbar ($699) and Ace Ultra headphones ($449) alongside the rebranded Sonos 27 audio platform, which integrates AI assistants and ChatGPT music control. The Beam Ultra features nine drivers, including upward‑firing units for Dolby Atmos height effects, a redesigned center channel, and AI Speech Enhancement. It offers Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI eARC, and multiroom grouping.

The Ace Ultra adds a new 40mm driver, adaptive ANC powered by ten microphones, up to 35‑hour battery life, and a direct music‑transfer feature via Headphone Engine 2. Optional AI controls include Sonos 27voice and ChatGPT support through Sonos 27mcp. Early access to updated app navigation and Sonos 27mcp begins September 8, while Ace Ultra’s headphone linking rolls out September 29.
