Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. disclosed receiving more than $250,000 in gifts from prominent donor Gavin de Becker, including pricey flights to Fiji and Greece and access to a vacation home in Washington, D.C., according to The Wall Street Journal.

The gifts came from de Becker, a security consultant who provided protective services to Kennedy and was a big donor to his 2024 presidential campaign. Kennedy disclosed the gifts, received in 2025, in an annual financial ethics disclosure updated this week. Among them were nearly $97,000 in round-trip flights to Fiji, where de Becker owns property, and almost $45,000 in a single round-trip to and from Greece. Kennedy also disclosed use of de Becker’s vacation home in Washington, D.C.

The filing detailed other gifts: a private flight to Aspen, Colorado, worth around $900 from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and WWE box seats from Education Secretary Linda Mc Mahon. He reported $4 million in book advances, including two $2 million checks from Skyhorse Publishing for *Unsettled Science* and *A Defense for Israel*. He expects another advance of less than $15,000 for *America’s Path Back to Moral Leadership*. Kennedy disclosed owning between $1 million and $5 million in bitcoin, a vacation property valued in the same range, and a Los Angeles home worth between $5 million and $25 million. He listed three mortgages and between $125,000 and $265,000 in credit-card debt — down from more than $600,000 reported last year. A spokeswoman said Kennedy follows federal ethics requirements and has consulted HHS ethics officials. De Becker did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
