Former Wales captain Ashley Williams and ex-Swansea City head coach Alan Sheehan have been appointed as assistant coaches under Craig Bellamy ahead of the Nations League campaign. Williams, 42, earned 86 caps and skippered Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals. The former central defender, a Uefa A Licence holder, steps into his first senior coaching role after involvement with Wales age-group camps.

Sheehan, 39, a former Republic of Ireland youth international, joins after being sacked as Swansea head coach in November 2025, having previously served as an assistant at Swansea, Southampton, and Luton Town.
