League Scheduling & Milestones
The NHL announced plans to continue its Global Series next season, confirming that the Carolina Hurricanes and the Seattle Kraken will face off in two regular-season contests held in Helsinki, Finland, in November. Separately, veteran bench boss Paul Maurice is nearing a major career benchmark, as he is slated to join Scotty Bowman as the only coach in league history to surpass 2,000 games managed once his next appearance is logged.
Team Transactions & Fantasy Outlook
In personnel moves, the St. Louis Blues secured a collegiate prospect by signing forward Felix Trudeau from Sacred Heart to a two-year entry-level contract set to commence next season, adding one of the top available undrafted free agents. Meanwhile, fantasy managers are being advised to target specific forwards from the New York Rangers and the Chicago Blackhawks this week to bolster playoff lineups based on favorable upcoming schedules and recent production trends.
