The device is slightly taller, wider, and heavier than the S25 FE, with a 7.4mm thickness unchanged. Under the hood, it runs on the Exynos 2500 chip, offering modest gaming performance but struggling with demanding titles like Wuthering Waves. The camera app occasionally lags, feeling more like an A-series device despite premium hardware.

Battery life is strong, delivering over 21 hours of playback. Storage starts at 128GB with 8GB of RAM, a $50 increase from the S25 FE, bringing the base price to $700. While the pistachio color option adds welcome diversity, the overall value proposition is weakened by sluggish software and modest hardware gains.

The S26 FE feels more like a trimmed S26+ than a true flagship contender, making its price hike hard to justify for many users.
