Top 10 Funding Rounds: Crusoe, Fluidstack Lead AI Haul

AI infrastructure dominated the largest venture rounds this week, with two multibillion-dollar deals taking the top spots. Data center and cloud provider Crusoe led with a massive $3 billion financing, followed by Fluidstack’s $1.5 billion raise. Further down the list, AI inference startup Gimlet Labs landed $300 million, joining a diverse group of big fundings spanning cybersecurity, robotics, food, HR software, payments and healthcare.

Crusoe, based in Denver, raised a $3 billion Series F co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, with Mubadala Capital participating. Originally founded to use stranded natural gas for crypto mining, Crusoe now serves OpenAI, Microsoft, and Meta. Total funding is nearly $7.2 billion, valuing the company at $30 billion.

Fluidstack, from New York, raised $1.5 billion led by Jane Street Capital, totaling over $2.6 billion. The company provides GPU and data center infrastructure for AI workloads, now valued at $18 billion.

Gimlet Labs, San Francisco-based, raised $300 million led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Sapphire Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Arm Holdings, and M12 participating. Upwind Security also raised $300 million for cloud security. Other notable rounds include David’s $250 million for high-protein food, Hi Bob’s $166 million for HR software, and Lyte AI’s $165 million for robotics.
