Google has raised the price of the TV Streamer to $150, a 50 percent increase from its original $100 launch price. The device replaced the Chromecast in 2024 and is currently Engadget's best all-in-one streaming device for 2026. The Google TV Streamer features 32GB of storage and 4GB of memory, supporting 4K at 60 fps, HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.

It also supports Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos, as well as spatial audio on the Pixel Buds Pro. The price increase appears linked to rising RAM costs, as AI companies have been buying up most of the world's RAM supplies, leaving manufacturers with limited hardware capacity. While the device now costs $150 on Google's online store and Best Buy, some retailers like Amazon still list it for $100, though pricing adjustments are expected soon.

The company has not officially announced the price hike or revealed the specific reason behind the increase.
