West Bromwich Albion have signed midfielder Toby Collyer from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old has signed a four-year contract and returns after spending the first half of last season at The Hawthorns, making 12 Championship appearances. He later moved to Hull City, helping them secure promotion to the Premier League.

Collyer is Albion's ninth summer signing, joining new arrivals including Jimmy-Jay Morgan and Conor Townsend. He made 13 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions during the 2024-25 season, making his competitive debut in their 3-0 home defeat by Liverpool in September 2024. Collyer expressed his excitement to return, citing the club's size, his positive loan experience, and manager James Morrison's desire to have him back as key reasons for his decision.
