The Welax S9 Pro is a full-mesh ergonomic office chair built for long desk sessions and relaxed breaks. It combines breathable mesh across the seat and back with an adaptive lumbar system and an adjustable headrest designed to support natural spinal alignment. A single-handle control mechanism adjusts height, depth, and tilt without a cluster of confusing levers, while 6D armrests add versatility.
The chair also offers a 130-degree lockable recline with a fold-out footrest, making it suitable for both focused work and quick breaks. Its sturdy aluminium alloy base with a Class-4 gas lift stands out, and the chair is approved by BIFMA X5.1, EN1335-1 Type-C, SGS, and IGR. It supports up to 150 kg (330 lbs) and carries a ten-year worldwide warranty.
Welax, founded in 1998, positions the S9 Pro as part of its broader effort to rethink everyday seating for modern life, where a chair must support both work and rest. The company frames comfort as something that should feel natural and effortless.
At €429.99 / $439.99, the S9 Pro sits at a premium price point. Buyers should weigh its adjustability and build quality against that cost and decide whether it outperforms alternatives in their budget range.
