The UPERFECT GR14BU is a 14-inch portable OLED monitor weighing just 590 grams, featuring a 2880x1800 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 10-point touch capability. Encased in a slim 7mm aluminum chassis with a built-in kickstand, it offers versatile connectivity via two USB-C ports and a mini HDMI input. While praised for its sharp display and practical design, the review notes discrepancies between marketing claims and published specifications regarding color gamut, contrast ratio, and response time. Priced at $399.99, it serves as a capable travel companion for laptops, tablets, or phones, though it is not positioned as a dedicated gaming monitor.
The GR14BU's core is a high-PPI OLED panel that delivers exceptional sharpness compared to typical portable FHD monitors. Its lightweight design and integrated kickstand enhance portability, while single-cable USB-C solutions simplify setup. However, users should note the absence of a headphone jack and the mixed performance metrics between advertised and spec sheet values. The monitor accepts HDR signals but does not officially support HDR functionality.
