darkFlash DY460 Mid-Tower Case Review

darkFlash continues its edgy design language with the DY460, a more compact mid-tower version of last year's DY470. The new case reduces desktop footprint by 23% while maintaining the distinctive angular aesthetic and glass-heavy construction that made its predecessor stand out. darkFlash sent the black variant for review, though both black and white options are available.

This modern mid-tower trades the dual-chamber layout for a more space-efficient design without sacrificing functionality. The DY460 supports Mini-ITX, microATX, and ATX motherboards, with room for GPUs up to 400mm and CPU coolers up to 180mm. The case comes pre-installed with one 120mm ARGB rear fan and three 120mm ARGB side fans, with optional mounting for additional cooling.

The DY460 maintains strong build quality with steel, plastic, and tempered glass construction. Front connectivity includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port alongside standard USB 3.0 and audio. While the case offers good BTF support and integrated ARGB lighting, the bent glass panels give it a unique visual signature that sets it apart from conventional mid-tower designs.
