Zalman has launched its Acrux II Platinum 1200W fully modular power supply. The unit meets the Intel ATX 3.1 specification and supports PCIe 5.1 with a native 12V-2x6 connector. It boasts 94% peak efficiency, holding 80 Plus Platinum and Cybenetics ETA Titanium certifications, and is built to handle 200% transient power excursions.

Cooling comes from a 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fan with automatic speed control, plus a silent mode switch that keeps it off below 30% load. The PSU uses a DC-DC topology with Japanese 105°C capacitors and is rated for a 100,000-hour MTBF. Zalman also introduced 1000W and 850W models in the same series.

With next-gen GPUs demanding more power, a reliable PSU is critical. The Acrux II's robust transient handling and modern connectors aim to provide clean, stable power for high-end systems. However, availability and pricing details are still pending, leaving consumers waiting for the final launch.
