Ubisoft officially announced Rainbow Six: Tactics during Gamescom opening night, confirming a 2027 launch for the single-player, story-driven tactics game. Leaked in January 2026, the title features turn-based gameplay similar to XCOM, utilizing operators, weapons, gear, and gadgets from Rainbow Six Siege. Players will command elite operators in tense battles across global locations, leveraging fully destructible environments for strategic advantage.

Missions include hostage rescue, bomb defusal, and high-value target elimination, with drone recon enabling synchronized assaults. Between missions, players upgrade their HQ to unlock new skills and gear while gathering clues to unravel a global conspiracy. Ubisoft estimates approximately 25 hours to complete the campaign. Rainbow Six: Tactics will launch on PC, Xbox, and PS5, and is currently available to wishlist on the Ubisoft store.
