Keyboard maker Iqunix has confirmed that the company is preparing a special EV63 EDG Edition to celebrate one of the most successful esports teams focused on Valorant. The EDG team features a signature black and gold aesthetic, which Iqunix claims underwent five rounds of joint fine-tuning for the EV63 EDG Edition color accents before the final release. This time, the company is introducing Timing Synchronization System (TSS) technology, which will align the keyboard's input processing with the PC's USB polling cycle for more consistent responses, lower latency, and more predictable input. To test this, Iqunix used its HyperCore v3.1 firmware to measure actuation latency and release latency.

According to internal testing, actuation latency is between 0.29-0.30 ms, while release latency hovers in an even tighter range of only 0.26-0.27 ms. In addition to low latency, the EV63 also offers traditional hardware enhancements like 8,000 Hz polling, 16,000 Hz scanning, and 0.01 mm Rapid Trigger Smart Switch Adaptation. Finally, the company leaves room for experimentation with different switches. Smart Switch Adaptation automatically recognizes 99% of mainstream Hall Effect switches, simplifying compatibility and making switch replacement more convenient. Combined with Magnetic X Ultra switches, designed for stronger magnetic flux and improved signal stability, the EV63 is built to deliver responsive input with dependable control.[](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/F8JAcVnlcSvoG5V1.jpg) [](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/2eBspvbDPueAbplG.jpg) [](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/zut48n8MkEV5HqdP.jpg) [](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/uS2WdoZvoF1Aus1Z.jpg)Read full story
