This approach contrasts sharply with the development of Cyberpunk 2077, which primarily targeted PC and faced significant launch issues on consoles due to the team's underestimation of the challenges involved in scaling down for current-generation systems. Nowakowski emphasized that the studio learned from those setbacks and now ensures the game works across all platforms from the start.

The company has also implemented stricter procedures to maintain institutional knowledge and improve team organization following the Cyberpunk 2077 launch controversies.
