The closure was revealed through a now-removed LinkedIn post by a studio programmer, who lamented that the public would never experience what the team could produce.

TiMi Studio Group, known for successful titles like Call of Duty Mobile and Arena of Valor, had ambitious plans for its Montreal division. The studio operated for nearly four years without publicly revealing any projects, despite its focus on multi-platform, open-world experiences. This closure follows a similar fate for NetEase's Spliced studio, which also shuttered before launching any games.

The gaming industry continues to face significant challenges, with major companies restructuring and closing studios. Sony's recent closure of Bluepoint Games further highlights this trend. While TiMi and Tencent haven't officially addressed the shutdown, multiple employees confirmed the news in LinkedIn comments, suggesting the closure is legitimate.
