Samsung Display will unveil its complete gaming display portfolio at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei, featuring 16 OLED and QD-OLED products spanning from 8.8-inch handheld panels to 49-inch curved monitors. The lineup targets both laptop and desktop gaming markets with cutting-edge refresh rates and resolution combinations that push current technical boundaries.

The highlight for laptops is Samsung's new Ultra Slim OLED panel technology, which cuts module thickness by over 20% compared to existing production panels. By etching both TFT substrate glass and encapsulation glass to reduce thickness by 30%, Samsung solved warping issues while maintaining perfect black expression and rapid response times. These displays achieve VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification and ClearMR 11000 ratings, with refresh rates from 165 Hz to 240 Hz.

For desktop gaming, Samsung introduces the world's first 4K 360 Hz QD-OLED monitor, combining ultra-high resolution with frame rates previously impossible on self-emissive displays. The breakthrough comes through optimized internal circuitry and drive systems. Samsung's Penta Tandem technology also debuts, increasing the blue OLED stack from four to five layers for brighter HDR performance and longer lifespan.

Gaming demonstrations include partnerships with KRAFTON, Pearl Abyss, EA, and NEOWIZ, showcasing titles like PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on 27-inch 500 Hz QD-OLED displays and Crimson Desert on 16-inch OLED laptops. These real-world comparisons demonstrate OLED's superior response times and shadow detail versus traditional LCDs, positioning Samsung as a leader in the shift toward self-emissive gaming displays.
