UK studio Rebellion has unveiled Alien Deathstorm, a new first-person action horror game announced during today's Xbox Partner Preview. The game casts players as a Combat Engineer responding to a distress call at a remote off-world colony. Upon arrival, they discover the settlement devastated by both a cataclysmic storm and alien creatures.

Set to launch in 2027, Alien Deathstorm will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The game will also debut on Game Pass day one, giving subscribers immediate access. Players must navigate apocalyptic conditions while uncovering what caused the colony's communication blackout.

This marks Rebellion's latest venture into the horror genre following their successful Zombie Army series. The studio, known for Sniper Elite and Atomfall, continues expanding its portfolio with this visceral survival experience. With its Game Pass launch strategy, Alien Deathstorm positions itself to reach a broad audience when it releases in three years.
