The Razer Viper V4 Pro gaming mouse has been confirmed by Valorant pro Canezerra during a livestream, following earlier sightings at competitive tournaments. The mouse, successor to the Viper V3 Pro, is reportedly already in use by multiple professional players including League of Legends competitor Myrwn. This follows a pattern of Razer's competitive gaming mouse releases.

Industry speculation suggests the Viper V4 Pro will share internals with the DeathAdder V4 Pro, featuring the new dome receiver, Nordic 54 series MCU, Gen-4 Razer Optical Mouse switches, and Razer Focus Pro 45K Gen 2 sensor. The design will reportedly maintain the Viper V3 Pro's symmetrical shape while incorporating minor physical refinements like a new coating and slight weight reduction. The current Viper V3 Pro launched in April 2024.

Based on Razer's typical release cadence, with the DeathAdder V4 Pro arriving in July 2025, the Viper V4 Pro is expected to launch in Q2 2026 or shortly thereafter. This timeline aligns with Razer's strategy of refreshing its flagship gaming mice lineup annually, maintaining its competitive position in the high-end gaming peripheral market.
