Souls-like games are known for their challenging, skill-based combat, but as the genre gains mainstream traction, accessibility has become a key discussion point. In a recent interview with Game Informer, Onimusha: Way of the Sword producer Akihito Kadowaki revealed that the upcoming title will feature granular difficulty sliders.

Kadowaki stated that Capcom aims to attract a wider audience by making the game more accessible. "We want this to be accessible to as many people as possible," he explained. The game will offer "modular difficulty settings," including distinct options for story and action, with further customization available between these levels.

This approach is intended to allow players unfamiliar with action games to jump in and enjoy the experience. Kadowaki hopes these settings will enable more players to complete the game, as difficulty often prevents many from finishing challenging titles.
