TrendForce data shows global OLED monitor shipments plunged 11% quarter‑over‑quarter in 1Q26 but surged 78% year‑over‑year, driven by a flood of QD-OLED panels. The newfound supply let newcomers scale production, filling gaps left by the typical off‑season dip. Overall market volume rose sharply despite the typical off‑season slowdown and prompted manufacturers to accelerate their roadmaps.

ASUS retained the top spot with a 24% share, thanks to an aggressive OLED lineup that included a 34‑inch gaming monitor boasting a 360 Hz refresh rate and a 16‑inch portable OLED display. This diversified matrix reinforces its barrier to entry and keeps the brand ahead of rivals in both gaming and mobile segments for consumers.

Samsung held second place with 16.4% share, leveraging its in‑house QD-OLED production and a legacy of high‑end panels. Flagship models such as a 27‑inch QHD monitor running at 180 Hz sustained demand, allowing Samsung to ride the off‑season while competitors scrambled for inventory and secured contracts with several OEMs seeking premium displays for professional workstations globally.

MSI nudged past AOC/Philips for third with a 12.2% share, driven by stable shipments of its 31.5‑inch units and new 27‑inch UHD commercial and 34‑inch 360 Hz gaming monitors. AOC/Philips clung to fourth, focusing on 27‑inch QHD panels and aggressive pricing, making the rivalry the tightest tier of the market in the OLED display segment.
