NVIDIA CFO Colette Kress warned investors that gaming GPU availability could be limited due to supply constraints. During the company's latest earnings call, Kress stated that while demand for NVIDIA's products remains strong and channel inventory levels are healthy, supply constraints will create headwinds for the gaming sector in Q1 and beyond.

NVIDIA currently has sufficient silicon from TSMC and secured GDDR7 memory inventory. However, once current inventory depletes, availability issues could emerge. The company has massive manufacturing capacity secured at TSMC for its Blackwell GPUs, but GDDR7 memory suppliers are struggling to meet demand. This creates a bottleneck since NVIDIA bundles memory modules with GPU dies for its AIB partners.

Without fresh inventory of memory modules, NVIDIA faces potential weeks-long delays in restocking gaming GPUs. While the company expects strong demand from gamers to continue, the supply situation may worsen as inventory levels drop. This confirmation from NVIDIA's CFO suggests gamers hoping to purchase RTX 50 series cards may face limited availability and potential price premiums
