NVIDIA has completed the sale of its remaining 1.1 million shares in Arm Holdings PLC, valued at approximately $140 million, marking the end of its investment in the UK-based semiconductor company. Despite divesting ownership, NVIDIA emphasized that its strategic partnership with Arm remains intact, as it continues to license Arm’s instruction set and intellectual property (IP) for its Vera and Grace CPU architectures. This move follows a years-long legal battle that scuttled NVIDIA’s $40 billion acquisition of Arm in 2020, which regulators blocked to prevent market dominance and protect competition in the semiconductor industry.
