NVIDIA has removed its GeForce 595.59 WHQL Game Ready driver from download pages after users reported severe stability issues. The driver, released as an optimization package for Resident Evil Requiem and Marathon, caused fan detection problems where only one GPU cooler fan would operate. Users also experienced clock stability failures.

On NVIDIA's official forums, frustrated gamers detailed widespread problems with the driver. NVIDIA acknowledged the bugs in an update, advising affected users to roll back to the stable 591.86 WHQL version. The company also instructed NVIDIA app users to reinstall their previous driver through the app's interface.

This driver recall represents a significant setback for NVIDIA's Game Ready program, which typically provides smooth optimizations for new game launches. The company has temporarily pulled both Game Ready and Studio versions while investigating the root cause. For now, users experiencing issues are stuck rolling back drivers until NVIDIA releases a fixed version.
