NVIDIA has expanded GeForce NOW browser support on Windows to include Firefox, alongside Chrome, Edge, and Opera. Despite holding only around 2.5% global browser market share, Firefox now offers cloud gaming access to millions of users who prefer Mozilla's browser.

The rollout follows months of collaboration between NVIDIA and Mozilla to meet GeForce NOW standards. Ultimate members can enjoy up to 1440p and 120 FPS with RTX-powered performance, requiring no downloads or installations.

Ajit Varma, Head of Firefox, called the partnership a "milestone moment" and a "big win for the Firefox community," hinting at more developments ahead. Firefox users no longer need to switch browsers to stream games.

This announcement follows shortly after NVIDIA's release of the official Linux native port of the GeForce NOW client app, which exited beta and became available worldwide for gamers.
