NuPhy Adds ISO and JIS Layouts to Node Mechanical Keyboards

NuPhy has expanded its Node100 and Node75 wireless mechanical keyboards with ISO and JIS layout options, addressing a real gap in the market for international users. The ISO variants include UK, German, and French layouts, while the JIS version targets Japanese users but still uses Latin alphabet keycaps. The JIS model features a fully split space bar with 2.25U and 2.75U keycaps to accommodate the denser bottom row typical of Japanese layouts.

These new layouts are available in both full-height and low-profile versions of the Node keyboards, giving users more flexibility in typing feel and aesthetics. Currently, the ISO and JIS options come in Lunar White and Ink Grey colorways only. The keyboards work wirelessly via Bluetooth or can be used with a cable.

The pricing reflects a modest $10 increase over standard ANSI versions, with the Node75 starting at $99.95 and the Node100 at $109.95 in the US layout. This move by NuPhy tackles a persistent issue in the mechanical keyboard market—limited options beyond the common ANSI standard. While companies like Keychron have found success offering diverse layouts, many brands still prioritize compact 60% designs over regional compatibility. NuPhy's expansion provides international users with more choices in a space traditionally dominated by US-centric layouts.
