MSI unveiled its latest mini PC lineup at Computex 2026, targeting both budget-conscious users and AI enthusiasts. The Cubi NUC WCG serves as an affordable desktop solution for client edge deployments, marking the company's push into accessible compact computing. Built around Intel's new Core 7 360 "Wildcat Lake" processor, this machine balances cost with essential performance for everyday tasks.

The Cubi NUC WCG offers solid connectivity for its class: dual HDMI ports, USB-C DisplayPort passthrough, and two Ethernet interfaces (1 GbE plus 2.5 GbE) for reliable networking. A 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 port handles high-speed peripherals while DDR5 SO-DIMM support ensures memory flexibility. Available in black and white, MSI positions this model as a practical entry point for compact desktop adoption in enterprise and home environments.

For power users, MSI introduced the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG featuring Intel's Core Ultra Series 3 "Panther Lake" processors, scaling up to the Core Ultra 9 386H. This Copilot+ ready system includes Thunderbolt 5, four display outputs, dual 2.5 GbE ports, and Wi-Fi 7 support. These specifications suggest MSI is targeting the emerging AI PC market with hardware capable of handling Microsoft's new Copilot features while maintaining a small footprint.

MSI's dual approach reflects the growing segmentation in mini PC markets: basic productivity versus AI-enhanced computing. By supporting both Intel processor generations, the company covers different performance tiers without abandoning its compact form factor strategy. This positions MSI competitively against Apple's Mac Mini and Intel's NUC lineup as the AI PC transition accelerates.
