MediaTek and NVIDIA joined forces to develop RTX Spark, a new processor class for Windows 11 PCs designed for personal agents, creativity, and gaming in slim form factors. The collaboration combines MediaTek's CPU, connectivity, and power efficiency expertise with NVIDIA's AI platform and RTX technologies. This partnership expands MediaTek beyond Chromebooks into the premium PC market.

MediaTek contributes several critical technologies including high-performance CPU, system integration with TSMC, memory architecture supporting up to 128GB, power management, and ultra-low latency wireless. These innovations enable advanced Agentic AI performance while maintaining efficiency. The tight integration allows local AI supercomputing directly on consumer devices.

Ben Bajarin of Creative Strategies notes this collaboration gives consumers more choices in the premium Windows PC market. The RTX Spark redefines modern computing for creators and gamers with cinematic graphics and localized AI power. The first wave of laptops powered by this technology will arrive in Fall 2026, marking MediaTek's entry into the Windows PC ecosystem as a technology provider.
