Logitech has launched the G304 X Lightspeed gaming mouse in China, updating its popular budget-friendly design after a seven-year wait. This new model features a 57-gram weight and upgrades the internal sensor to the HERO 25K, offering a significant improvement over the previous HERO 12K unit with a max 25,600 DPI. A key change is the move to an internal 290 mAh lithium battery, providing up to 106 hours of battery life and eliminating the need for AA batteries.

The device also adds a welcome wired mode. Early teardowns reveal an Nordic nRF52833 MCU and Omron mechanical switches. Priced potentially under $50, the G304 X targets the budget market, positioning it against competitors like MCHOSE.

Currently, the mouse is only available in China.
