Lenovo unveiled the Tab Plus Gen 2, a 12.1‑inch tablet aimed at users who flip between work, travel and leisure. The device pairs a larger 2.5K LCD panel with Dolby Vision and HDR10, while a rotating 360‑degree kickstand lets it switch between portrait, landscape and hanging modes. Tony Chen, VP of Tablets, said the product is built to move as naturally as its owners.

Audio upgrades center on a JBL 9‑unit Pro speaker system tuned with Dolby Atmos, delivering clearer dialogue and room‑filling bass. Bluetooth speaker mode lets the tablet act as a standalone audio hub, and Dolby Audio processing offers Dynamic, Movie and Music presets. The 10,200 mAh battery promises up to 15 hours of YouTube streaming, while 45 W fast charging cuts charge time dramatically.

A detachable sleeve with shoulder strap reinforces the tablet’s on‑the‑go intent, and compatibility with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus and Wireless Keyboard rounds out a productivity suite. Lenovo plans a limited rollout in select markets, pricing the Tab Plus Gen 2 at $399.99. By bundling cinema‑grade audio, bright HDR display and AI‑driven transcription, the device challenges the traditional media‑tablet niche.
