Iqunix is finally addressing a long-standing demand from its MQ80 and Magi-series low-profile mechanical keyboard users by developing shine-through keycaps. Responding directly to community feedback voiced on Reddit, the brand confirmed plans to release these keycaps, a feature previously missing from its popular budget-friendly enthusiast keyboards. Production hinges on securing pre-orders, with the company requiring 1,000 units committed before manufacturing begins.

This approach allows Iqunix to prototype and color-match the keycaps to its aluminum cases while ensuring compatibility with the Kailh Choc V2 low-profile switches and the keyboards' north-facing lighting. While images of the keycaps on the Magi-series keyboards aren't yet available, the distinct white color of the MQ80 and the creamy off-white of the Magi suggest three potential colorways. The keycaps will be made from durable PBT material and maintain the uniform height and spherical top profile of the original keyboards.
