China leads the rollout of Intel's new Wildcat Lake Core 300 series laptops, with CHUWI's UniBook arriving first at $449. This budget model packs a unique five-core Intel Core 3 304 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5X memory at 7,467 MT/s, and a 14-inch 1920x1200 IPS display. The configuration directly challenges Apple's MacBook Neo in the entry-level Windows segment.

ASUS, HP, and Honor have also listed their Wildcat Lake models on Chinese retailer JD.com. These mid-range laptops feature six-core Intel Core 5 320 processors, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 512GB SSD storage. Pricing ranges from $571 for the Honor Notebook X14 to $662 for the HP OmniBook 3, roughly double the base CHUWI configuration.

Intel's platform uses an 18A internal node with a six-core CPU, NPU 5 delivering 40 TOPS of INT8 performance, and integrated Xe graphics. The architecture supports LPDDR5X memory at 7,467 MT/s and includes 4MB of memory-side cache for improved responsiveness.

These laptops position Intel to compete aggressively in China's value segment, where doubling the memory and storage of comparable Apple models at similar price points could attract budget-conscious consumers switching from macOS to Windows.
