Intel's Razor Lake processor lineup, set to launch after Nova Lake Core Ultra 400 series in early 2027, will utilize TSMC's N2X node according to leaker Jaykihn. The N2X node, part of TSMC's 2 nm family, prioritizes high frequencies over power efficiency, signaling Intel's push for performance leadership against AMD.

Intel may dual-source compute tiles for Razor Lake, similar to the evolving Nova Lake strategy. While Nova Lake was initially planned with 60-70% of production on TSMC's N2 node and the remainder on Intel's 18A process, recent supply chain information indicates a shift toward 80-90% in-house production at Intel Foundry. The same approach could apply to Razor Lake depending on 18A-P node readiness.

Additionally, Razor Lake will introduce Intel's big Last Level Cache (bLLC) technology to laptop SKUs, enhancing mobile gaming performance. This feature will reportedly be absent from Nova Lake laptop variants, remaining exclusive to desktop SKUs in that generation.
