Intel Razor Lake-AX Prelim Support in HWiNFO

HWiNFO has added preliminary support for Razor Lake-AX, marking a significant step toward its public release. The update signals Intel’s intent to compete directly with AMD’s Halo APUs, offering a large integrated GPU alongside a robust CPU core.

Early reports detail two iGPU variants: a 16-core model and a flagship 32-core option, both built on Xe3 graphics IP currently used in Panther Lake. This architecture could make Razor Lake-AX nearly three times more powerful than the current Arc B390.

The SoC’s GPU die is projected at 162.84 mm², and Intel plans to reintroduce on-package LPDDR5X/LPDDR6 memory—a first since Lunar Lake. It will ship in a BGA‑4326 package, similar to many Xeon CPUs.

Intel aims to launch the first batch of Razor Lake-AX chips after Nova Lake, targeting 2027 for initial availability.
