AMD plans to bring RDNA 5+ graphics to its Zen 7 "Grimlock" APUs in 2029, per a leak from Kepler_L2 on the NeoGAF forum. This follows AMD's split APU roadmap: "premium" parts get RDNA 5 while standard devices stay on RDNA 3.5 until 2029. The Zen 7 generation, codenamed Grimlock, will feature these advanced integrated GPUs.
Details remain unclear as AMD has not officially confirmed timing or specs. Related developments include Medusa Halo and Medusa Point APUs, with potential RDNA 4m graphics for Medusa Point and Medusa support for gfx1170/1171/115E in HIPRT 3.2. The information is still leak territory pending AMD's official statement.
