Intel has confirmed its upcoming Arc Pro B70 graphics card, codenamed Battlemage, through LLM Scaler software testing. The professional visualization GPU features the long-rumored BMG-G31 die with 32 Xe2 cores and 32 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, targeting AI workloads and demanding creative applications. Intel plans to release this GPU within the current quarter.

The Arc Pro B70 represents a significant performance leap over the current Arc Pro B60, offering approximately 4,096 FP32 cores in its full configuration. This doubles both the core count and memory capacity of its predecessor. Intel has also scaled down the BMG-G31 die for the Arc Pro B65, which delivers 2,560 FP32 cores with 32 GB of GDDR6 memory, providing 8 GB more than the B60 while matching its core configuration.

Early testing shows the B70 achieving a 1.49x performance improvement over the B60 in geometric mean testing under SLA constraints, with potential for near-doubling performance in optimal configurations. The release could include dual-GPU options if partners like Maxsun follow their B60 Dual-GPU card approach. This launch positions Intel to compete more aggressively in the professional GPU market against established players like NVIDIA and AMD.
