Glorious Revives 69g Model O Classic Gaming Mouse with 19K Sensor

Glorious has revived its original Model O gaming mouse with the new Model O Classic, bringing back the 2019 design complete with honeycomb shell and RGB lighting. The $89.99 wireless mouse features the same BAMF sensor (now called the 19K Optical Gaming Sensor) with 19,000 DPI, 400 IPS tracking, and 40 G acceleration. Despite the perforated design, it maintains the original 69g weight.

When the original Model O launched, it was considered a breakthrough in gaming peripherals, but it has since been surpassed by lighter designs. Modern gaming mice often weigh 40-50g, with some like the Corsair Sabre V2 Pro dipping into the mid-30s. The Model O Classic's 69g weight puts it on the heavier side for today's standards, even with its honeycomb construction.

The mouse still uses Glorious Core software for customization, which is Windows-only, potentially limiting its appeal to Mac users. By resurrecting this classic design, Glorious is betting there's still demand for the original Model O's ergonomics and aesthetics, even as the industry continues pushing toward ever-lighter gaming mice.
