GIGABYTE unveiled the GeForce RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity Wood graphics card at Computex 2026, marking the first dual flow‑through cooling design in the Infinity series for the RTX 5080 chip. The card pairs wood accents along its top edge and front with a sleek metal shroud, targeting creators and gamers who want high performance without sacrificing a boutique look.

The new card complements GIGABYTE’s X870E AERO X3D Wood motherboard, which also sports wood trim but in a lighter palette. At the same show the company introduced the X870E AERO X3D Dark Wood variant, swapping the aluminium‑white‑beige scheme for matte black and darker wood. Both boards sit on a premium aluminium‑magnesium alloy mesh topped with programmable LEDs, reinforcing the brand’s luxury aesthetic.

By tying the RTX 5080 card to a matching motherboard, GIGABYTE aims to lock in enthusiasts who build visually coordinated rigs, a niche that has grown alongside high‑end component sales. The dual‑flow cooling should help the GPU maintain boost clocks under sustained loads, while the LED‑lit mesh shroud offers a distinctive look for showcase builds. Pricing starts near $2,000, anchoring it in the enthusiast tier.
