GIGABYTE demonstrates AI TOP ATOM four-node clustering to scale local AI computing for memory-intensive workloads. Each node delivers 1 PFLOPS FP4 AI performance and 128 GB unified memory, interconnected via a 200GbE RoCE-capable switch. The modular architecture lets organizations scale from one to four nodes while keeping data on-premises and maintaining full sovereignty.

The company collaborated with NVIDIA to showcase an AI-driven scientific workflow powered by NVIDIA Nemo Claw blueprints. The pipeline orchestrates Nemotron-3-Nano-30B-NVFP4 models for hypothesis generation and dispatches GROMACS to run molecular dynamics simulations across the cluster, connecting AI reasoning with physical simulation.

Applied to thermal interface material development for advanced semiconductor packaging, the demonstration shows a four-node cluster pushing simulation capacity beyond 30 million atoms — triple the ~10 million atom limit of standalone systems. This addresses a critical bottleneck in next-generation IC packaging research where molecular dynamics models continue to grow.

The cluster positions AI TOP ATOM as a bridge between AI development and scientific computing, offering enterprises a locally deployed alternative to cloud HPC for workloads that demand both data security and memory capacity beyond single-system limits.
