Forza Horizon 6 is barreling toward 5 million sales after launching on PC and Xbox Series consoles on May 19. Steam sustained roughly 280,000 peak concurrent players daily through launch week, and Alinea Analytics estimates the game hit $325 million in revenue. The multi-platform release clearly resonated with players across both PC and console ecosystems.

Of the 4.9 million units estimated sold, 1.7 million were the $120 Advanced Access version. 42% of copies went to Xbox players, covering PC, console, and cloud. Steam pulled in 49% of revenue while Xbox took 51%, a near-even split. Over 3 million Game Pass subscribers played during the launch week alone.

The revenue split matters because it shows Xbox's ecosystem drives nearly half the sales. China already accounts for 13% of Horizon 6 Steam players, confirming the franchise has solid footing there. Alinea Analytics data suggests the game's cross-platform distribution is working as Microsoft intended.
