Keen Games has set October 15, 2026 as the official launch date for Enshrouded 1.0, bringing the open-world survival title out of Early Access after more than two years. The game will arrive simultaneously on Steam and PlayStation 5, including the newer PS5 Pro model, giving console players their first taste of the base-building adventure.

The announcement comes alongside a trailer hinting at visual upgrades and new content. Players have already spotted what appears to be a floating island biome and improved lighting in the footage. Enshrouded has maintained strong interest during Early Access, peaking at over 160,000 concurrent players on Steam, suggesting solid demand for the full release.

Xbox players will need to wait a bit longer, with spring 2027 targeted for that platform's launch. Keen Games hasn't detailed major new features for 1.0, but promises optimization improvements, quality-of-life changes, and fresh content updates before launch. This marks a significant milestone for the developer's first major title.

The extended Early Access period allowed Keen Games to refine core mechanics and build a dedicated community. With cross-platform release expanding the audience significantly, Enshrouded enters a crowded survival genre with proven player engagement already established.
