Elgato, a CORSAIR brand, has unveiled Wave Next, its most significant audio platform evolution since 2020. The ecosystem includes six integrated products: Wave Link 3.0 software, Wave:3 MK.2, Wave XLR MK.2, XLR Dock MK.2, Wave XLR Pro, and Stream Deck + XL. This launch represents a complete rethinking of creator audio workflows, combining free software with hardware that processes audio at the source.

Wave Link 3.0 serves as the ecosystem's centerpiece, now available free for Windows and macOS. The redesigned mixing platform supports up to five independent submixes and works with virtually any microphone or audio interface. Users gain granular control through per-channel effects processing, VST plugin support, and Stream Deck integration. When paired with Elgato Wave hardware, the software unlocks deeper features including guided setup and direct access to the Wave FX Processor.

The new Wave FX Processor chip, developed with LEWITT Audio, fundamentally reimagines audio signal paths by moving critical processing onto hardware. This custom chip powers four new devices including the Wave:3 MK.2 USB microphone and the flagship Wave XLR Pro, which ships in Q2 2026 with dual XLR inputs and five hardware-based mixes. The ecosystem aims to eliminate the complexity that has traditionally plagued creator audio setups while maintaining professional-grade performance.
