Behaviour Interactive and Devolver Digital have announced Serious Sam: Shatterverse, a co-op FPS set to launch later this year. The game expands the classic boomer shooter universe into a multiversal battleground where five players traverse shifting realities. Players will battle alongside alternate versions of Sam Stone, the series' iconic character, against his arch-nemesis Mental, who has fractured the fabric of reality.

The title leverages Behaviour's experience with co-op action (Dead By Daylight) and Devolver's reputation for publishing bold, unconventional titles like BALL x PIT. The collaboration aims to honor the series' 25-year legacy while introducing fresh mechanics like procedurally shifted runs and powerful run modifiers.
