DeepCool is launching a Wood Grain Edition of its CH260 microATX case exclusively in China via JD.com. Priced at 399 RMB (~$57) for black and 449 RMB (~$64) for white, the new variant follows a 2026 trend of adding wood accents to PC hardware. The CH260 originally launched globally in 2024 in standard colors.

The move comes as DeepCool remains unable to exhibit at major US trade shows like CES due to ongoing US trade sanctions. While competitors like Thermaltake debuted wood-accented cases in Las Vegas, DeepCool’s Chinese market launch gives local buyers first access to this aesthetic option. Promo images suggest minimal visual difference from the standard models.

The CH260 line itself is a follow-up to the well-received CH160 ITX case from spring 2024. As the DIY PC market explores new materials, DeepCool’s wood edition represents a low-risk refresh for a product line established before sanctions impacted its global reach. What remains to be seen is if this variant will ever leave China.
